An AI pin is a small wearable device — typically clipped to clothing — that provides ambient, hands-free access to artificial intelligence. Unlike a phone, it requires no screen interaction. You speak to it, and it responds through a discreet earpiece, making intelligence continuously available without interrupting your focus or requiring your hands.
AIPin uses a hardware-level wake-word chip that operates completely offline. The device only begins recording after your wake word is detected locally. All sensitive queries are processed on-device. You have full, granular control over what data is stored, synced, or deleted — and a physical mute switch overrides everything electronically.
AIPin uses a hybrid model architecture. Simple, fast tasks run on a highly optimized on-device model for privacy and speed. Complex reasoning, extended context, and heavy language tasks route transparently to leading cloud models. The routing is automatic and invisible to the user.

At launch, AIPin supports real-time bidirectional translation across 12 languages including English, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Mandarin, Portuguese, Italian, Korean, Arabic, Hindi, and Dutch. More languages are being added continuously based on early access feedback.
At launch AIPin integrates natively with Google Calendar, Gmail, iMessage, Google Maps, Apple Health, Slack, Notion, Spotify, iCloud, and Amazon. A Zapier connector and open API allow connection to thousands of additional services. Enterprise integrations including Salesforce and Microsoft 365 are on the roadmap.
